JAWS, BX: Revision 2425 released. This is a minor maintenance update with no expected impact on those who have not already talked to me about the updates being made. * Fixes chat navigation script commands for the October 30 Discord update.
* The [ O sequence for going to the Home link is removed because Home is now the top element inside the server tree.

JAWS, JAWS Alert Manager (JAM): First release of these scripts - long time coming!
* Toggle silencing of most app and Windows alerts. Silenced (squelched) alerts will produce a very tiny sound so you still know there will be something to read later.
* Review recent alerts without moving focus out of your current screen.
* Let JAM remember where you stopped reading alerts so you can resume later; works even if you restart JAWS or switch to a different JAWS version.
* Enjoy the shortening of some alert wording, better formatting of phone numbers in alerts, etc.
* If you like, let JAM manage the UIA alerts ("accessibility notifications") that JAWS ignored up until JAWS 2021.

JAWS, script translators and translation: I have updated http://www.dlee.org/code_tran.htm to include a reference to a perhaps gentler introduction to script translation that I wrote in 2012. This may be useful reading for some script translators, especially for its explanation of how to handle different file types. The older document also discusses more thoroughly how to handle jsm files, though those now mostly appear only in my professionally contracted scripts.

General, Chrome 86, anyone with download problems: Chrome 86 is blocking downloads from my site unless you right-click links and choose Save As, then tab past end of page and press Keep. The problem is that my site uses secure https to serve pages but the pages themselves often contain http links. I will make another announcement when I have decided how best to address this problem, but the workaround I just gave will work for Chrome users for now.

General, Chrome 86, anyone with download problems: Chrome should again be able to download normally from my site. The entire site is now https and will force https if you visit via plain http. * The omit-time and relative-shortening options work properly instead of being treated as if they are always on. Sorry about that one.
* The commands for toggling these options, Command R and Command T, no longer leave the key layer; so it is easier to toggle the options while navigating among alerts. It will be necessary to run the script installer instead of using the JAWSKey+/ Shift+U update command to make this second change take effect.
