JAWS, Unigram, call for testers: Unigram build 2691 freezes my JAWS 2019 and 2020 after every message I post and after every message I receive, for five to ten seconds. I need to know if this happens for anyone else out there. This issue does not affect NVDA and does not occur in older Unigram versions, unless it occurs in build 2689 which I never managed to test. If you have input, use the discussion group I just mentioned to let me know. Thanks much.

JAWS, Unigram: I have one confirmation of the JAWS freeze on chat send and receive. I also have a workaround: Disable in-app sounds in Settings > Notifications, and the problem goes away. Build 2691 added a beep for incoming messages. We're still working on a better solution.

JAWS, Unigram: Script revision 52 released at https://www.dlee.org/unigram: Typing indicator support works for incoming voice and video content, more reliable incoming chat announcements and/or sounds when enabled in Quick Settings, better handling of very long chats, location messages, and voicemails in some groups; and several more items.

JAWS, Unigram, General: If JAWS freezes briefly when a new message arrives or sends, turn off In-App Sounds in Settings > Notifications. Also if dlee dot org links I post here don't work from Twitter, I saw that and will look into it when I can. They do work from Telegram, but I want them working from both places.

Recommended for all BX users because it fixes a rare but sometimes disruptive JAWS stall immediately after the user switches between applications and tries instantly to type into the new one.

JAWS, Unigram: For anyone out there for whom the recently added mention autocomplete system I scripted didn’t work, try this revision (80). For some reason, the chat input box appears to JAWS as if it is a single-line rather than a multiline box on some machines; and that broke the autocomplete code by making the scripts fail to recognize the box. JAWS 2019 and older, Microsoft Teams web interface: Experimental but apparently stable script update, revision 71: Significant help with extra menu event problems while arrowing through replies in a threaded conversation while using JAWS 2019 and older. There is no issue under JAWS 2020. This problem only applies to the web Teams interface, not to the Desktop application. The fix also only applies to the web interface. https://www.dlee.org/teams/

* Better naming of some fields.
* Hopefully much more efficient presentation order for messages, and users can choose format.
* Commands for reading parts of message info (sender, content, flags, attachment info, etc.) separately.
* Long messages not cut short.
* Commands for simulating F6 and Shift+F6 for home-row efficiency and users with inconvenient keyboards for typing function keys.
