Position: MQ/Linux System Engineer
❗️We are not an out staffed company. English. Unbureaucratic, plenty of real coding. Fintech. Interesting. Real salary. Plenty of perks.
❗️We are a small but international company created by IT engineers. Not being an outsourcer in the usual sense of the word, we specialize in creating niche software for large international banks and investment funds.
❗️We are looking for a System Engineer, with experience in IaaC tools and concepts, with a good Linux system administrator background, and solid experience as MQ administrator.
The person will join the infrastructure team to solve the following tasks and goals:
✔️Supporting and evolving organization messaging infrastructure - MQ, AMPS, Kafka on-prem
✔️automate the installation and configuration of systems software using Chef and Ansible;
✔️perform standard Unix systems administration tasks;
✔️automate daily basis tasks with bash and python;
✔️configure and maintain monitoring utilities;
✔️configure infrastructure with Terraform;
Requirements:
✔️Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field, or compensating years of experience.
✔️At least 5 years of experience as a UNIX system administrator.
✔️At least 3 years experience with MQ administration
✔️Experience in Kafka and/or AMPS administration would be a plus
✔️Knowledge of UNIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments, file systems, and network protocols.
✔️Shell scripting Windows and Linux;
✔️Knowledge of networking principles including routing, subnets, TCP, IP, VLANs, and UDP.
✔️Excellent troubleshooting skills.
✔️IaaC toolset knowledge
