Historically, every time Bitcoin dominance reached around 64% (blue level) during a strong macro uptrend, it always faced heavy resistance.
- In 2017, when BTC DOM hit ~64%, the drop was massive (red circle).
- But even after that, dominance still climbed back to 71% before eventually crashing even harder.
- In mid-2019 and late 2022 (green circles), the bounces off 64% were short-lived and weak.
- Yet, after those small dips, BTC DOM still pushed up to 71% before making a bigger move.
Now, in this cycle, BTC DOM has just touched ~64% (blue level).
But if history repeats itself, Bitcoin dominance will find a way to reach 71% again—either immediately or after a pullback.

Ideally if on the imposition of duties or FUD we will see the zone in the next few days 86-89
where we can take juicy long positions.

The past week has been super busy, so there have been minimal updates.
I need to finish some critical automation upgrades.
Overall, I still expect the market to recover in the second half of February, and that’s when we’ll reevaluate what to sell.
Ideally, with a drop in BTC dominance, we should see strong bounces on meme coins and ETH pumping, allowing us to exit some stuck spot positions.
Technically, today should have been the local bottom, followed by a bounce first on BTC and LTC.
Also, the daily chart just triggered a long signal on XRP, so I expect XRP and XLM to show solid growth soon.
I’ve finished the full automation for trade execution,
but I’ve spent the last week fine-tuning the scalp algorithm.
Entry points are solid, but exiting at the highs is still a challenge for the bot—
which, to be fair, is a common problem for any algorithm.
Not sure if I’ll finish it by Thursday,
since I’ve got a trip to France coming up.
I’ll be back on Monday, and we’ll return to full market updates and active trading.

I’m guessing that solid drop in #SOL is coming from folks shifting over to ETH. I’m not gonna jump on the setup I mentioned before—I think it’s smarter to pick up some tokens in the ETH ecosystem right now. They’re probably not gonna break that 150 level on the first go—it’s still too early. Overall, I’m expecting a move up around the 18th or maybe the 20th. But if the train’s running late, that’s definitely a red flag.

Alright bros, I switched up the swing algo so it only takes one big take-profit. Yeah, it doesn’t nail that 80–90% success rate anymore, but I tested it a bunch, and a single take-profit target ended up more profitable overall—especially once you factor in distance, fees, and total gains—compared to splitting into 3–5 partial exits.
In my tests, I used about 10% of the deposit per trade, and drawdowns stayed pretty chill. I also capped the algo at 2–3 open positions max, so a sudden dump won’t wipe the account. Peep the screenshot for a quick look at the kind of results you can expect.
