Yesterday was a public holiday in the US, and only futures on the CME were traded.
Today, in about an hour, the stock market will open, and we’ll see the reaction to the inauguration, speech, and first working day of Trump.
If the DXY dollar index strengthens during this, it typically puts pressure on both the S&P 500 and BTC. On the other hand, if the S&P 500 shows growth, BTC is likely to follow.

It makes sense that if DOGE or SHIBA can be in the top 5-7, then TRUMP could easily climb into that range, potentially even pushing up to the top 3.

Honestly, the daily charts on alts don’t look great to me right now.
It feels like a 15-30% drop in alts might be brewing, but I’m not sure why—there’s not much liquidity below.
By the end of the next day, if the daily charts close with a solid green candle, I’d bet on good growth. Otherwise, stay on your toes.
