CPI INFLATION REPORT TODAY 🚨
Stock indices closed mixed yesterday. The S&P 500 rose by 0.11%, while the Nasdaq declined by 0.13%. Despite market-friendly PPI data and a slight decrease in the dollar index, there hasn’t been a noticeable stock market rally.

This could be because a significant amount of important market data is expected today. First, the CPI for December will be released in about two hours. CPI is the primary inflation index.

In most cases, CPI is the main metric used when discussing inflation. The situation is unusual this time because CPI is being published second, after PPI, which was released yesterday. PPI showed growth, but it wasn’t as strong as the market expected.

Therefore, we can expect something similar from CPI. Analysts predict that CPI will rise this month from 2.7% to 2.9%. The potential result of 2.9% is already priced into BTC, meaning the market is prepared for this outcome.

If the results are within the expected range, meaning not higher than 2.9%, the market will react calmly. The key is for it not to exceed 2.9%. Values around 2.8% or lower will be perceived as positive.

If the data comes in better (lower) than expected, there’s a chance the S&P 500 could return to above 6,000. If CPI reaches 3% or higher, it could lead to a sell-off to the year’s lows.

Additionally, today will feature earnings reports from major financial institutions. Reports will be released from BlackRock, Bank of NY Mellon, JPMorgan, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, and Citigroup.

TRIGGER STOP 🛑

When discussing a stop trigger "at the close of a 4-hour or daily candle," it means that the activation of the stop order or its execution will not just depend on the price touching a specified level during the trading day, but on the closure of the price candle (either 4-hour or daily) above or below this level.

This approach helps avoid false activations of stop orders caused by short-term price fluctuations and makes the trading strategy more resilient to market "noise." It's important that the order execution occurs after the candle closes at a certain level, which serves as a confirmation of the price movement's authenticity.

For the closure of a 4-hour candle: The trigger is activated if a 4-hour candle closes above (for long positions) or below (for short positions) a specified level. This assists traders working on medium-term timeframes to minimize risk and manage it with greater precision.

For the closure of a daily candle: The stop trigger is activated if a daily candle closes above or below a set level, primarily used by long-term traders to confirm more significant trend movements and manage risks on a long-term basis.

Such triggers are usually set up in trading platforms and can be part of automated trading systems or used in manual trading to enhance discipline and strategic effectiveness in managing trades.

There has been no official statement about a hack. The CUBA token, a classic “rug pull” scheme, was pumped to a market cap of $30 million at its peak.

Then the page went on to promote scam tokens CUBA 2.0 and CUBA 4.0 (for some reason, the scammers skipped version 3.0).

If you’re inexperienced, don’t get caught up in the hype around political meme coins. Making a profit is unlikely, but losing your entire deposit is very easy.

We hit two take-profits, and the remainder of the position was stopped out at breakeven.

Then the lower limit order got filled.
