It was a privilege to be part of 'Shri Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Janmotsav (Saptashatkottar Suvarna Mahotsav)' at the sacred Shri Kshetra Alandi in Pune.
The Warkari Sampraday pioneered by Sant Dnyaneshwar and elevated by Sant Tukaram Maharaj, envisioned a society free from caste, creed, and religious divisions. Maharashtra leads the nation, not just in progress, but through the deep cultural and spiritual roots of the Warkari tradition.
Sanatan Dharma, through practices like Namasmarana, village saptahs, and spiritual kirtans, has long shown the path to inner peace and social harmony. The Pandharpur Wari—revered as the world’s largest spiritual pilgrimage—is a shining symbol of devotion, discipline, and the living message of the Bhagwad Gita, beautifully brought to the masses by the Dnyaneshwari.
Announced the establishment of a grand 'Dnyanpeeth' on 450 acres of temple land—a beacon of knowledge and devotion for generations to come. Reaffirmed our firm commitment to rejuvenate the sacred Indrayani River, with an approved development plan already submitted to the Centre.
Also expressed my support for recommending Param Pujya Hari Bhakta Parayana Shanti Brahma Maroti Maharaj Kurhekar for the prestigious Padma Award, in recognition of his extraordinary spiritual contribution.
