Topic: Topic: Thankfully Cast All Your Cares On Jesus Because He Cares For You
√ We cast all our cares on Jesus Christ because He cares indeed.
√ Casting simply means to pray.
√ In Casting, Believers are like the fishermen that cast their nets with effort and faith even when they are not yet seeing any fish. They cast it with expectation trusting that their need of catching fishes will be met. We should do likewise in our prayers and know that God will surely meet our needs.
√Cast Your needs on Christ because He cares.
√ If you CAST your net on Christ, you can FORECAST the Outcome of your problems.
If you can cast your prayers and needs on Jesus, you can forecast your outcome.
√ Your difficulty is waiting for you to cast it to Jesus. The answer is in the casting.
√ Jesus will never fail! He can't. He won't. He doesn't have the nature to fail. Know this and believe it.
√ Even in the smallest of issues, God cares. He cares for the big and small things about us.
√ To forecast is to foresee things about our lives.
√ People that can cast, can anticipate their results, have foreknowledge of what is coming and confidently estimate what will happen in their case
√ Pray prayers that are filled with thanksgiving. Thanksgiving can never go wrong.
√ Believers don't live by luck. We live by favour
√ Peter is a great model on casting. As a fisherman he has the experience and authority to show us how casting works.
√ In Luke 5, Peter didn't allow his context to deny him of connection, even though it wasn't the right fishing time, he still obeyed Jesus and cast his net.
√ He knew that Jesus is the God of the seasons : He is life and knows about life, He calls the fishes at anytime and they answer.
√ Peters syndrome of toiling changed when he obeyed the Lord and cast. He caught a Net- breaking miracle of fishes. Peter obeyed the word and did something.
√ Peter knows fishing and it's seasons and yet didn't argue with Christ. He obeyed Him.
√ The power of casting/praying is to do what the Lord tells you. Don't stop at praying, do.
√ Whatever Jesus tells you, take it to the bank, do it and enjoy your blessings.
√ When Jesus gives a Word He sends the answers ahead.
√ Asking, Seeking and Knocking are all casting
√ Pray and do. Don't pray and disobey. You won't receive your blessings
√ The Hallmark of being a believer in Christ is "Yes Lord" We can't follow God on our own terms. It must be by His terms.
√ The Instructions of Christ often do not make sense. ( Have you thought about it. What's the connection between, there is no more wine and fill the jar with water?) But Do it. Whatever He tell you, Do it. There are blessings in His instructions.
√ We can't please God by works. God is pleased when we obey Him.
√ Have you done what the Lord asked you to do? The difference between those who receive answers and those who don't is doing.

By His Mercy and Grace, as we cast all our cares on Christ, we shall receive every blessing He has in store for us in Jesus Name. Amen.
