🤔 LP rewards have been distributed

From day one, we have followed a simple plan: to build the best DeFi protocol. Not "the best in TON," but simply "the best." This ambitious goal has required us to make tough decisions and take unconventional paths.

One of the key objectives was to transform liquidity provision from a complex DeFi tool into a mechanic that is understandable to the mass audience. To achieve this, we developed a concept and set to work. However, after months of effort, we encountered obstacles that we couldn't overcome.

Ancient wisdom teaches us to accept what cannot be changed, and that's exactly what we did. Despite the substantial resources invested in development, we decided to abandon the implementation of a revolutionary new reward mechanism for liquidity provision. Instead, we opted for a time-tested solution where rewards are reinvested into the pool, increasing the value of your LP tokens.

All liquidity provision rewards collected between April 19, 2023, and June 24, 2024, are now available for claim in the Portfolio section. The classic mechanism of reinvesting LP rewards has been in effect since June 24, 2024.

🤔 Introducing $DUST, the new name for DeDust.io token

One of the most frequent questions we've been asked in chats and personal conversations over the past year is, "Why doesn't DeDust.io have its own token yet?" and "Why is DeDust.io's token called SCALE?"

A long time ago, we planned to name the exchange "Scaleton," but eventually, we came up with a better name—DeDust. While this has created some confusion, $SCALE has still become one of the most popular and well-known tokens in the ecosystem.

This rebranding aims to make our token even more recognizable and widely known, improving its branding and strengthening its connection to our product.

Today, we are thrilled to announce the rebranding of $SCALE to $DUST.

Holders don’t need to take any action— the contract address and on-chain data will remain the same; only the name will change. We will reach out to all analytics platforms and ask them to update the token display accordingly. Additionally, we plan to highlight $DUST more prominently on the homepage of our exchange.

The complete rebranding process will take some time, but in the meantime, share your thoughts on this update in the comments, and of course, tell all your frens about the update.

The popular mini-app Major, which has gained 39 million users in just five months and has been mentioned multiple times by Pavel Durov on his personal channel, has officially launched its token. It will soon be available for trading on major platforms, including DeDust.io.

🤔 Claim LP rewards from locked liquidity

For memecoin projects, locking liquidity is often a key step in building trust within the community. However, this approach has historically come with a tradeoff: it cuts off an important source of income—LP rewards—creating a conflicting motivation for founders. Without access to these rewards, the only way to generate revenue is by selling your own tokens, which increases sell pressure and raises concerns among your supporters.

We’ve solved this problem!

With our new locker contract, founders can now claim LP rewards credited to permanently locked LP tokens. Thanks to our partners at GasPump, this update is live, and all new tokens successfully deployed on DeDust.io will include claimable rewards on locked liquidity. This breakthrough offers long-term incentives for memecoin founders, aligning financial rewards with sustainable project growth.

🤔 Exchange interface updates

If you’re a frequent user of DeDust.io, you may have noticed some significant interface changes over the past few months.

While each of them taken separately is a very tiny step, together, they’ve transformed how users interact with our platform, making it more accessible for newcomers and more informative for seasoned DeFi-ers.

Let’s take a look at some of them together:

1. We added a new block to the main page of DeDust.io. It now features our token, $DUST: live price, a direct link to swap, essential information, and a link to more detailed stats. We’ve often been asked why we don’t display our native token on the homepage — now we do.

2. We created a Brand Kit for partners and anyone who loves our branding (and wants to showcase our adorable mascot). Find the link in the footer or click here if you can’t wait to see Sir Cubovich himself.

3. Completely revamped our pools page, adding an FAQ, essential pool/tokens information, an APR breakdown (organic and boosted), and exact boost finish times and dates.

4. Liquidity deposit and withdrawal pages are also redesigned and enriched with valuable information.

5. The most frequently used page—Swap—has also been significantly updated. Transaction parameters, error messages, favorites list… you better check it out yourself. It’s much better now!

All these tiny yet impactful updates were inspired by your feedback in comments, chats, DMs, and even at offline events. Thank you for helping us make DeDust.io better!

In the first month of 2025, we focused heavily on optimizing internal processes and new releases. We've made significant progress in both areas, though it may not yet be evident to an outside observer. Meanwhile, you can already enjoy a few interface updates that make using DeDust.io more convenient.

1. Expert Mode Update
The Expert Mode allows for trades with a significant price impact. Now, when it's activated, a warning appears, and the user must check a box to confirm they understand the associated risks. Additionally, this mode does not feature an extra confirmation modal window; once the Swap button is pressed, the transaction is immediately sent for wallet confirmation.
Disclaimer: Handle with care, this mode is called "expert" for a reason!

2. Claiming rewards for providing liquidity in boosted pools
Wallets that are deployed with W5 standard can execute up to 255 transactions at once (in older wallets it was only 4), allowing to claim up to 255 rewards simultaneously (previously also 4). If you're using a new standard wallet, the interface will allow you to select more rewards. Nothing changes for older wallets.

3. Creating a new pool
We've simplified the interface and the process of creating a new trading pair. Instead of requiring three transactions, you now only need to sign one, and the interface more clearly shows which step of the pair creation process the user is on.

1. New Aggregator Launch
We've successfully rolled out the beta version of our new liquidity pool router. This aggregator automatically seeks out the best routes and offers the most competitive prices for any tokens. Plus, we don't charge any additional fees for exchanges made through other platforms.

2. Analyst Competition
Our analyst competition has come to a close, and we are in the process of selecting the winners. A prize pool of $6,000 will be distributed among the creators of the top dashboards that showcase DeDust’s key performance metrics. 3. Aggregator Improvements
Since launching this new tool, we've gathered initial feedback and promptly fixed any reported bugs. We've also added support for new protocols. 4. Exchange Settings Update

⚙️ Major Upgrade: Pools Page
Added horizontal scrolling for columns and brought back sorting by simply clicking the table headers for a smoother experience. In the My Pools tab, you’ll now see a new ‘Rewards’ column displaying the amount you’ve earned from each pool. And if you have numerous pools, they will now be paginated instead of requiring endless scrolling.

🗝 Swap page optimization
We’ve eliminated delays when selecting a token with the Memepads option enabled. Additionally, the transaction status message now includes a direct link to the blockchain explorer, so you can track your swaps live.

🎆 Staking 2.0 & 200,000 $DUST Bonus for Stakers

Since the introduction of DeDust v2, a lot has happened, with one of the highlights being the launch of $DUST staking. Currently, around 2.1 million $DUST tokens are being staked — about 12.5% of all tokens issued. That’s an outstanding achievement, especially as our staking mechanism is still far from perfect. We’re grateful for your trust!

For the most recent rewards payout, we sent USDT directly to your wallets instead of going through a $DUST buyback. These rewards represent the trading fees collected up to and including May 9, 2025, and were distributed based on how long each user kept their $DUST staked: the longer your tokens were staked, the larger your reward. This approach helped us avoid price movements while ensuring all $320,000 in fees went straight to stakers.

Another big move was the announcement of DeDust X at The Gateway conference in November 2024. DeDust X will introduce liquidity pools with customizable logic — a feature we’ve been working hard on. Along with this upgrade, we’re preparing a new version of the staking program, including regular rewards and extra benefits for holders.

As we finalize these major updates, our team is focusing all efforts on a successful launch. We’ve completed all reward distributions to partners and stakers for the period up to May 9 and, for now, are pausing further trading fee distributions through staking until the new version is live.

To keep supporting our staking community during this transition, we’re allocating a promotional budget of 200,000 $DUST, which will be distributed between May 10, 2025, and the launch of the new staking system. The distribution will happen shortly after the release and will be carried out in accordance with the updated mechanics.

Once the new staking program goes live — currently planned for early to mid Q3 2025 — the regular fee distributions will resume. The updated system is designed to be fairer and provide stronger incentives for long-term participation. With the current trading volumes in the ecosystem, we expect this temporary reward pool to be more attractive than standard fee sharing.
