Business Intelligence Developer
Leading FMCG Company is looking for an experienced BI consultant for data products execution in a region, popularization of new BI instruments and techniques across Business and playing a key expertise role in a region in BI.
City: #Moscow, #office, partially #remote
Format: #fulltime
Role responsibilities:
• Develop prototypes in MS Power BI and Tableau (self and involving 3d parties)
• Develop functional and technical specifications for BI solutions
• Develop data preparation flows in Power Query, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, Python
• Design and creation of ETL procedures in Data Lake for data views, data marts preparation (self or through 3d parties)
• Consult internal business customers in data-related questions
• Form recommendations on reports and datasets optimization, data auto-refresh
• Use personal expertise in BI solutions to support positive challenge in conversations with BI service providers both internal and external
• Be single point of demand capture in Data analytics and data visualization areas
• Actively collaborate with Business Functional Experts in Functional areas in order to educate and establish right knowledge and skillset in Business and IT in data analysis and analytics instruments usage
Skills requirements:
• Strong BI development experience at least in one of the following technologies: Power BI, Tableau
• Experience in creation of data preparation flows in one of the following technologies: Power Query, Tableau Prep, Alteryx
• Understanding principles of Data Lake technology (Hadoop/MS Azure or similar) and classic Data Warehousing (MS SQL-based/BW or similar)
• Very good business analysis skills
• Ability to capture and transform business requirements into BI solution functional design
• Can create SQL queries to MS SQL
• Ability to understand business problem and familiarize fast in new functional area, speaking one language with the business
• Knowledge of Python, Spark, Data architect experience, ability to write simple ETLs might be considered as competitive advantages
• English level – not lower than Intermediate – business mailing, reading technical documents, presentation of the results, audio meetings with internal teams

• Open minded, ability to work in a team
