Ребята, что же, я проделал большую работу: прошел курс по Data Engineering от Simulative, пришло время поделиться с вами впечатлениями.

Ниже пишу подробный отзыв, если резюмировать:
Я требовательный и придирчивый к курсам человек, но этот курс хорошо зашел. Он основательный, с системным подходом, хорошо проработанный и при этом очень дружествнный для новичков. И так, пошли по порядку.

- Команда поддержки - просто котики и оперативно отвечают.
- Грамотно организован процесс обучения. На старте курса предоставляют всю необходимую информацию по организационным вопросам. Я впервые встречаю настолько до мелочей хорошо организованный курс. Образно говоря, когда курс стартовал, было ощущение, что я сел в крутую премиум тачку. Прям проработана каждая мелочь, чувствуется, что ребята работают с душой и любовью к студентам. Чувствуется забота.
- Админка, LMS-система (платформа для обучения) тоже продумана до мелочей для максимального комфорта - учиться одно удовольствие. Например, есть раздел для непройденных материалов, возможность добавить страницы в избранное, отслеживание прогресса, AI-ассистент и многое другое. Визуально красиво, а я визуал!)

SQL - хорошая теория, примеры кейсов из реальной жизни. Лектор очень хорошо объясняет SQL. Очень удобный интерфейс для практики: если не получается - можно получить подсказку или посмотреть решения других (если сам решил). Модуль с практикой хорошо закрепляет теорию.

Визуализация в Metabase - до этого модуля я не думал, что DE вообще нужно уметь строить дашборды. Но потом подумал: сейчас на рынке всё больше ценятся фулстек дата-специалисты, которые могут не только поднять пайплайн, но и визуализировать результат. Этот модуль - приятный бонус к основному стеку. Типа Analytics Engineer

Git/GitHub - модуль компактный, но очень важный, особенно для тех, кто раньше не работал с системами контроля версий.

Python - хорошо объясняется, что из Python нужно дата-инженеру и какие задачи бывают на практике. ООП разбирается доступно - на реальных примерах.

Linux - модуль покрывает то, что реально нужно DE на сервере: bash, скрипты, регулярные выражения, права доступа, управление процессами, инструменты curl/wget/df.

Docker - Евгений классный преподаватель. Объясняет Docker так, как будто рассказывает другу за чашкой чая: просто, с примерами, без лишней воды. Развернуть весь стек (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Metabase, Airflow) в контейнерах и увидеть, как всё это работает вместе - один из тех моментов на курсе, когда реально понимаешь масштаб того, что изучаешь. Практическое задание по этому модулю - одно из самых интересных.

И так, это вторая часть моего отзыва на курс по Data Engineering от Simulative, едем дальше по модулям!

Airflow
- модуль серьёзный: разбирается и архитектура, и продвинутые штуки вроде Jinja Templates, Operators, качество данных. Приятно, что DAG'и пишешь с первых уроков сам, а не просто наблюдаешь. Финальный проект реально всё закрепляет - после него ETL-пайплайны перестают казаться чем-то абстрактным. Чувствуется, что Давид (Ozon Fintech) рассказывает то, с чем сам работает каждый день.

ClickHouse / DWH - один из самых насыщенных модулей на курсе. Илья и Денис дают не просто технические знания, но и понимание архитектуры: почему ClickHouse, а не PostgreSQL, когда и что использовать. Разбирается всё - построчные преобразования, агрегатные и оконные функции, массивы, работа с сырыми данными, соединения, и в конце специал-кейсы из реальной практики. Кейс с телекомом - это уже не учебная задачка, а то, что реально решают инженеры в крупных компаниях. Такое в портфолио смотрится солидно.

Hadoop / Spark / pySpark
- тема больших данных на старте кажется пугающей, но Иван из МТС Big Data объясняет так, что постепенно всё встаёт на свои места. Разбирается экосистема Hadoop, архитектура и вычисления, Apache Hive для обработки данных. Дальше идёт Spark - работа с данными, SparkML, и отдельно Kafka + Spark Streaming - это уже близко к реальным продакшн-задачам. Итоговое задание хорошо всё закрепляет - после него Big Data перестаёт казаться чем-то из другого мира.

В общем, ребята очень интеллигентные и приятные профессионалы своего дела, которые сопроводят ваш путь с новичка до дата-инженера с опытом. А пока будете учиться - поверьте, у вас будет что написать в резюме 💪
