We are pleased to announce a new course — “Building Faith: Cultivating the Foundations of ʿAqīdah and Īmān in the Modern Mind.”

In an age overshadowed by intellectual doubt, moral relativism, and spiritual exhaustion, the question of Īmān lies at the very heart of the Muslim’s struggle. How can faith remain firm when everything around us seeks to erode conviction? How does one build a sound ʿAqīdah that satisfies both the intellect and the heart?

This eight-week course addresses these pressing questions through a structured study rooted in the classical understanding of ʿAqīdah while engaging with contemporary challenges that confront the modern Muslim mind.

Students will explore:
- The meaning, pillars, and structure of Īmān in light of revelation.
- The harmony between ʿAql (reason) and Naql (revelation).
- The foundations of Yaqīn (certainty) and how it is cultivated.
- The transformative role of ʿAqīdah in moral character, worship, and worldview.
- How to address doubts, confusion, and the ideological currents of our time through sound knowledge.

🎓 Ustādh Mehdi is a graduate of the renowned four-year Al-Bināʾ Al-Manhajī program under Shaykh Aḥmad al-Sayyid—a rigorous framework aimed at building sound intellectual and spiritual foundations rooted in classical scholarship.
Alongside his Islamic training, he holds an MBA from Mihaylo College of Business and Economics (California State University, Fullerton) and works professionally as a Network Engineer.
