Sheikh Uthaymīn said:

"And to Allah belongs what he restrains and what he gives."

This is a great statement! Everything belongs to Allah, if something is taken away from you then remember it is in His ownership, and if He gives you something then it is still in His ownership, so then how can you be displeased when He takes from you what belongs to Him?

Why Does Allah Test Those Whom He Loves?: Three Reasons Why Allah Tests His Believing Slaves

Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله
P U R I F Y Y O U R H E A R T 🫀

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

“Nothing can be beneficial to the heart like reciting the Qur’ān meditatively. It causes one to have love for Allāh, passion, fear, beseeching Allāh, reliance upon Him, gratefulness to Allāh and patience, in addition to everything that puts life into the heart.”

Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله:

"It is feared for a person that
if he makes a habit in delaying his acts of worship (till the last minute),

then Allāh will test him by delaying everything that is good for him."

[Majmoo' al-Fataawa, 13/54]
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

To Allāh belongs the kingdom of the heavens & the earth, yet He asks a loan from you (i.e. giving charity) but you are stingy. He created the seven seas but He loved a tear from you (out of fear of Him) but your eyes were tearless.
