Today, 15th June, the Cyprus Airways flight CY106 from Larnaca to Dubai is delayed indefinitely.

The flight was scheduled to depart at 07:00, but it currently has a status of "delayed." Consequently, the return flight from Dubai to Larnaca CY107 is also delayed.

Please note that according to EU Regulation 261/2004, if the arrival of the aircraft at the destination is delayed by more than 3 hours, passengers may be entitled to compensation.

You can file a complaint directly with the airline.

Alternatively, you can use services like AirHelp or Compensair.

Armenian Airlines is planning to launch flights between Yerevan and Ufa!

Flights are scheduled from 9 July to 22 October, operating weekly on Tuesdays. One-way tickets start from 70€ (depending on the direction and date).

Starting October 1st, Pobeda Airlines plans to launch flights between Abu Dhabi and Makhachkala. Flights are scheduled for Tuesdays and Saturdays. One-way tickets start at 120€. You can purchase them on the airline's website, but payment is only possible with a Russian card.

You can connect these flights to or from Cyprus with Wizz Air flights between Abu Dhabi and Larnaca. The flights are not conveniently timed, as Wizz Air flies to Abu Dhabi from Cyprus on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. However, it's another reason to take a walk during your layover.

Maldives 🇲🇻 in August without costing an arm and a leg!

Wizz Air offers one-way tickets in August between Larnaca and Abu Dhabi from 56€, and from Abu Dhabi to the Maldives from 117€ one way.

Today, 24th June, Wizz Air flight W61251 from Katowice to Larnaca departed with a delay of nearly 6 hours. The flight was scheduled to leave Katowice for Cyprus at 06:30 but eventually took off at 13:20.

As a result, the departure of flight W61252 from Larnaca to Katowice is also delayed: instead of 11:15, the flight is now set to depart at 17:55.

Remember, according to EU Regulation 261/2004, if the flight arrival at the destination is delayed by more than 3 hours, passengers may be entitled to compensation.

As experience shows, Wizz Air often has difficulty paying compensation for delays. In their refusal, the company usually claims that the delay was due to extraordinary circumstances without specifying what they were. According to many passengers, companies like AirHelp or Compensair have been helpful in obtaining compensation.
