The aircraft was scheduled to depart from Cyprus to Armenia at 05:10 AM, but it eventually took off around 9 AM.

The delay was partly due to the aircraft flying from London to Larnaca the previous day but being diverted to Paphos. It departed Paphos for Larnaca this morning at 06:30, after circling near the airport for some time. According to passenger reports, there was fog around Larnaca Airport at that time.

On FR24, the flight is shown as having departed from Beirut. Explanation here.

You can try to request compensation for the delay through services like AirHelp or Compensair.

✈️ 🇨🇾 There has been a sharp rise in complaints about airlines in Cyprus. Passengers are complaining about flight delays, lost or damaged baggage, and poor service. According to the Civil Aviation Authority, the number of complaints has reached a record level.

Additionally, it has been reported that four airlines have been found engaging in unfair practices, such as charging passengers for airport check-in when the online check-in system is not functioning.

For flight delays of more than three hours, according to EU Regulation 261/2004, passengers are entitled to compensation. Complaints can be submitted directly to the airline through their website, or passengers can use intermediary services such as AirHelp or Compensair, which handle all the work of obtaining compensation for a fee.

💼 In the event of lost baggage, it is necessary to report it immediately to the airport's lost baggage service and fill out a special form. In cases of poor service, it is recommended to keep all evidence, such as photos and receipts, and submit a complaint to the airline, requesting appropriate compensation.
