CoinsPaid Statement on Dao Maker’s Hack

What happened?

1. Dao maker contract was hacked tonight, and the hacker gained access to 5 million $CPD tokens.

2. The hacker sold the entire volume of tokens, which greatly influenced the token's price. Here is the hacker's wallet address: https://etherscan.io/token/0x9b31bb425d8263fa1b8b9d090b83cf0c31665355?a=0x2708CACE7b42302aF26F1AB896111d87FAEFf92f

3. The price dropped from $0.15 to as low as $0.06. Buyback has pushed it over $0.10 again.

What's next?

4. We are in touch with Dao Maker and work out the solution to solve the situation shortly.

5. Dao Maker has already stated that they will acquire tokens on the market so that their users can get them through vesting. In addition to our project, 3 more projects on Dao Maker were affected.

6. This is an unpleasant but not tragic situation since $CPD tokens are distributed between three blockchains, and the most of the tokens are blocked in the smart contract: 0xdba68f07d1b7ca219f78ae8582c213d975c25caf

7. We will definitely work out the solution to full compensation for any losses of our community in the shortest time.

8. We are confident that this situation will only make us stronger and our community more united.
