@AzamatJoe: I am skeptical about them too. Well at least in terms of committing AFVs and IMVs to support them resulting in disproportionate losses of these vehicles.
Presumably this is aimed at drawing of Russian forces from their Sumy push.

"At the next round of negotiations in Istanbul, we should send SBU chief Vasyl Maliuk. He wouldn’t have to say a word — just sit off to the side, calmly watching the Russians while quietly jotting things down in a little notebook with a pencil."

RT @RALee85: I interviewed Yevgeniy Malik, a sergeant from Ukraine’s 36th Marine Brigade who fought in Mariupol at the beginning of the war and spent more than two years in captivity. He talks in detail about the torture he faced, how he mentally coped with captivity, and what Ukrainian prisoners of war continue to face in Russian prisons.

RT @olliecarroll: @IAPonomarenko: Drapaty and Syrsky — two very different kinds of general — had not been getting on. While Illia’s right that this is a demotion, Drapaty gained a lot of credit for offering his resignation in the first place. He may well rise again — especially if he sorts the front out.

So, to sum up: General Drapatyi submitted his resignation as Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces following a Russian strike on a training camp.
After meeting with Zelensky, he posted a message saying he was “staying in the fight,” which many interpreted…

RT @JohnH105: A major shakeup at senior levels in the Ukrainian military.
Zelenskyy accepted Maj. Gen. Mykhailo Drapatyi's resignation as Ground Forces commander, but he'll remain OSUV "Khortytsia" and JFC commander, responsible for eastern Ukraine. Drapatyi submitted his resignation on June 1 following the latest in a string of Russian strikes on training grounds. This comes amid reported tension between Drapatyi and CinC Syrskyi.
Zelenskyy and Defense Minister Umerov said the next, still unnamed Ground Forces commander won't be dual-hatted, focusing exclusively on force generation and development.
Meanwhile, Col. Oleh Apostol, former 95th Brigade commander most recently serving as deputy CinC under Syrskyi, will go back to the Air Assault Forces, this time as its commander. The former commander, Maj. Gen. Ihor Skybyuk, was appointed deputy chief of the General Staff.

🇺🇸 SASC/HASC released bill text back in April but this is a second draft with a few changes. If there's any notable differences I will call those out, so stay tuned.

In reality you look 10 times worse than your profile picture. You look like an old pig.
Watch this magnificent looking video made in Russia. Don’t these Tu-95s look beautiful?

RT @heatloss1986: It's worth remembering at this time that Boeing, responsible for the new F-47, is NOT Boeing-Douglas that is responsible for the KC-46 and 737 MAX disasters.
Boeing St. Louis is McDonnell Aircraft, responsible for the F-4, F-15 and F/A-18, all the best fighters of their era.

❗🇺🇸 The Pentagon wants to prioritize the Air Force's F-47 over the Navy's NGAD, asking Congress to move $500 million in additional funding in the reconciliation bill from the latter to the former.
The Senate has responded by increasing NGAD's proposed funding by $250m to $750m.
