@hansenbc1: The US however has <100 PRSM now and only a handful are made per month, but US plans to have a PRSM stockpile of 3,000 to 4,000 missiles to replace all ATACMS. Also, US has around 14,000 non-nuclear long range cruise missiles and ATACMS. So sending 300 was a drop in the bucket.

@ukraine_map @hansenbc1: Eventually, the US will have over 20,000 non-nuclear long range cruise missiles and ATACMS. It’s best if the US sends Ukraine over 1,000 ATACMS, JASSM, JASSM-ER, and some Tomahawks to do serious damage to Russia, but they won’t because Trump.

All of Europe including Greece and Turkey, only has around 3,000 cruise missiles and ATACMS in total. Germany has 600 Taurus, France has less than 300 SCALP-EG, UK has ~600 Storm Shadows. They are barely producing anymore. Taurus is not being made at all. Europe needs to get serious about producing long range cruise missiles. If Taurus would be sent to Ukraine, then the need to restart and significantly scale up Taurus and other long range cruise missile production would be necessary.

Storm Shadow, SCALP-EG, and Taurus missile production can be scaled up according to the manufacturers. Why this is not being taken serious by France, UK, Germany, and Italy I don’t know. They need to get very serious about Russia and rapidly scale up their cruise missile production while at the same time developing new missile types which hopefully doesn’t take an entire decade to make, because they are so far behind.
