Рівно два роки тому відбувся перший наш політ. А до цього - довга підготовка.
З групи інтузіастів був створений один з найефективніших FPV взводів у збройних силах.
Багато хто думає, що ми це полк чи батальон
Скажу чесно - ця думка нас тішить.
І тішить те, що ми свого часу не засали...
Їздили, навчались, робили помилки, але головне - рухались.
Ми своїм ділом також доклалися до сучасного літопису.
Попереду багато справ.
Важко. Але ми не плануємо зупинятись.

The crew he visited has reportedly already intercepted 103 Russian cruise missiles and loitering munitions with their IRIS-T SLM fire unit.
On behalf of the Commander of the Air Command West, the unit commander Oleksandr handed the ambassador the command's coin, which is engraved with an IRIS-T SLM launcher and on his own behalf he also handed him a keychain made from the wreckage of cruise missiles shot down by the IRIS-T SLM fire unit. The ambassador handed over his own coin as a sign of appreciation and respect.

Taurus, in particular, is uniquely suited for destroying targets like the Kerch Bridge, given its high-yield penetrating warhead and programmable fuse.
At this stage, the Taurus debate is driven more by politics than military necessity, and delivery has arguably even become more important for Germany than Ukraine.
That's because Taurus has come to symbolize German reluctance and escalation angst. The Chancellor must correct that perception. If Berlin ultimately withholds the missile, it will need to offer something of equal political weight.

The big question is how effective Ukrainian-build cruise missiles are compared to Taurus KEPD-350 during certain mission. If they cannot replace the Taurus KEPD-350 one-for-one, I would still like to see a delivery of the German cruise missiles.

@tohonournglory: Gen Kenny was asked about that and he said the reqs are still being defined but they do plan on procuring a new one to replace the already retired Hawks.
