@Mallard143: There are many aspects to consider when putting the program for a ship such as Maud together. Not just national Norwegian requirements and the maintenance schedule, but also other commitments to NATO. These have to be weighted against each other and the full CSG deployment is long.

Replenishment oilers are a scarce resource across the alliance and the demand is always high.
