🇺🇸🇯🇵🇰🇷 The Missile Defense Agency has awarded Raytheon a $2.134 billion contract modification for Standard Missile 3 engineering services. The award increases the ceiling from $1.198 billion to $3.332 billion to allow for additional work to be performed.

The scope includes: "Sustaining Engineering and Product Support (SE&PS) services for Standard Missile (SM)-3 Block (BLK) IA, SM-3 BLK IB, and SM-3 BLK IIA All Up Rounds. This will include technical baseline engineering, obsolescence mitigation, cybersecurity, flight test activities, service life evaluation, production rate capability studies, transition to production, special projects, spares, sustainment, Defense of Guam, and Foreign Military Sales activities."

The performance period remains Oct 30, 2020 to Oct 29, 2029.
