Normally, arms sales go forward without a vote. But any Senator can object and force a full debate and Senate vote. I will do that for any military deal with a nation that is paying off Trump personally. We can't act like this is normal foreign policy.

@AirPowerNEW1 @heatloss1986: Russ Vought is interested in a smaller defense budget. Trump wants a stronger military but can't be bothered to get involved in the details of how to get there, and Hegseth is obviously incompetent. It's on Congress to get this sorted out.

🚀For the first time, footage of Ukrainian S-200 launches has been officially shown. Modified S-200s have been used to target and shoot down several very valuable Russian military aircraft:
▪Tu-22M3 Backfire-C (strategic bomber) – shot down over Stavropol Krai on April 19, 2024, more than 300 km from Ukrainian territory.
▪ A-50U (AWACS) – downed twice: first over the Sea of Azov on January 14, 2024, and again over Krasnodar Krai on February 23, 2024.
