/2. A map shared by Russian sources indicates that the Russian Su-30, which was shot down, had taken off from the Saky airbase in Crimea on a mission to search for and destroy naval drones.

💥🛩️ On May 2, 2025, Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence (HUR MO) special unit Group 13, in coordination with the SBU and Defense Forces, destroyed a Russian Su-30 fighter jet using a Magura maritime drone. This marks the first time in history a combat aircraft has been taken down by an unmanned naval platform.

The strike was executed by HUR's special unit Group 13 near the Russian port of Novorossiysk. The aircraft erupted mid-air and crashed into the sea.

@Maks_NAFO_FELLA: Other than taking the risk that Putin won’t agree and look like he is obstructing peace and an actual 30-day ceasefire, waiting for Putin to stop the war whenever he wants wouldn’t benefit Ukraine

1. It would allow Putin to rearm for 30 days while Ukraine is distracted with negotiations

2. It would temporarily end the war for multiple years potentially, allowing Russia to keep all the territory they illegally stole, get away with all the war crimes they committed, build up their economy to prepare for another war in several years

The best option is to get serious about the war and stop Russia by sending air power, long-range missiles, IFVs, and ammunition to significantly increase the Russian casualties in the war while training more Ukrainian soldiers in preparation for an offensive in a year. In addition to imposing severe economic sanctions on Russian energy, all Russian tankers and key countries doing business with Russia. Not holding back like before. There is no other way to stop Russia. Russia will not agree to end the war unless they have every possibility to reinvade Ukraine in the future.

The only solution is both military and economic
