I'm no political scientist and usually leaves such analysis to others but the Russian opposition isn't comprised of "Westerners", nor Ukrainians, and I think that is a factor to remember and one that should temper expectations.

RT @deaidua: I just want to point out to you that @nexta_tv has apparently blocked me for repeatedly taking action under their posts against their false reports towards their 1.2 million followers about the German assistance for Ukraine.
The most recent example was their announcement that Germany would no longer supply heavy weapons to Ukraine, although Germany has already heavy weapon systems under contract for Ukraine which will be delivered at least until 2028.
Apart from the use of screenshots of their tweets, I am no longer in a position to point out and further explain false reports from NEXTA.

A POW from the Tuva Republic in Russia. His group were not given a radio as they speak Russian poorly. They had no radio or commands for 2 days and got lost.

HUR MO: The commander of Russia's Iskander missile battery, Captain Konstantin Nagayko, is currently in critical condition after an explosion struck him in the town of Shuya, Invanovo Oblast of Russia, on January 3, 2025.
According to Ukraine's HUR MO, Captain Konstantin Nagayko was involved in a missile strike on the Ukrainian settlement of Hroza in 2023, as a result of which at least 59 people were killed.
Nagayko is serving in the 112th Guards Missile Brigade (в/ч 03333) of the 1st Guards Tank Army, with a home-base in Shuya, Ivanovo Oblast of Russia.
