The Kinzhal missile is not a hypersonic missile, it is in fact an Air-Launched Ballistic Missile. Kinzhal is essentially an air-launched Iskander-M with a max speed of 10 Mach, while Iskander-M has a max speed of 6-7 Mach

They’re launching a handful of Kinzhals a month, less than 10, because Iskander-Ms cannot reach almost all of Western Ukraine, and X-101s get shot down.

@rubikcubefella @front_ukrainian: An Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile, not a Hypersonic Missile, which was an experimental missile with dummy warheads. The missile itself cost $20 to $40 million to make. The strike was Geolocated via video footage the hit and sattelite images show that the missile did ZERO damage to the factory. A single Iskander-M would’ve been much more effective. At least Iskander-M has a CEP of under 30-40 meters while that missile had a CEP of 250 meters, and a cost 10 to 15 times more. The entire point of that missile launch was for nuclear intimidation because Russia isn’t able to escalate more past the point of launching large scale missile attacks every couple of weeks where like 10 missile hit, and accounts online make a massive deal about it.

@ukraine_map @rubikcubefella @front_ukrainian: The reason why it was used instead of another MRBM, IRBM, and ICBM is because the rest that Russia has have nuclear warheads inside of them so this one had 36 dummy warheads. It looked nice on video though but it did no damage. The reason why they targeted that factory is because the area of the factory is massive so a missile could miss by 300 to 800 meters and still hit a building at the factory. If it was used on a specific building, a small target then it would just miss and end up hitting residential buildings. There is always a chance it could hit it but that chance is under 10%. It’s a complete waste of $30 million. MRBMs, IRBMs, and ICBMs are meant for nuclear warheads and not striking with dummy or unitary warheads. Iskander-M, X-101, and Kinzhal missiles are much more effective than that.

That would create absolutely massive holes in the factory roofs much larger than the ones from 500lbs warhead. The buildings would not exist anymore. Yet none are visible so what are you talking about?
