@cym27s: I think 150 is just a waste. It would be a complete waste. 100 max, but also 100 would be a good number to take it out for good. 50 maybe a gamble and also may not get the job fully done. Because we are taking about 20 bombers and other aircraft, and around 10 important buildings. It’s mainly the bombers, the ammo depots, and a couple of facilities.

Last month that base had 9x Tu-95
5x Tu-22, and 5x Rotary Wing. Any further strikes on ammo depots would be much more effective by striking other ammo depots and the factories creating those missiles of which there are very few, or striking other air bases. That’s if Ukraine wanted to do it. Let’s remember that Russia brought a significant amount of air defenses into Ukraine and Crimea to defend against ATACMS and Cruise Missiles. Their air defenses in the largest country in the world is abysmal at this point if it’s not Moscow where they also moved a significant amount of air defenses too.

For example, the strike on Toropets, when over 100 drones hit and destroyed 80 buildings and reinforced bunkers at that massive ammo depot.

With such a large area in Russia, cruise missiles could maneuver around any well or partially protected areas, and then strike the air base.

If Finland wanted to do it, taking out the bombers would be much easier since the base is 160km from the border. The bombers could be destroyed within minutes with 2 dozen ATACMS.
