@eeldenden @_JakubJanda: This claim is not really supported by the facts. The last 3 years have seen significant growth in US-European defense industrial cooperation. Lockheed has significantly expanded its base of European suppliers for PAC-3 MSE, Raytheon's COMLOG joint venture with MBDA Germany will build PAC-2 GEM.

The US is a useful scapegoat for (western) European governments that don't want to seriously invest in their own defense.
