The Ministry of Defense of Belarus confirmed our assumption that the sound of the explosion over Minsk was the transition of a fighter of the Belarusian Air Force to supersonic speed.
It was reportedly produced by the Su-30SM fighter of the Belarusian Air Force.

However, it’s unclear why a flight task with a transition to supersonic speed was conducted over the city, scaring hundreds of thousands of people.

In addition, the Defense Ministry decided not to give any details at all. For example, that 9 aircraft and 3 helicopters were involved in this inspection, and it was held from 14:00 to 15:55.
