1.🇷🇺POWs in Kursk Oblast: 1434th Motor Rifle Regt 'Akhmat Chechnya'.
Finally a thread on 1434th POWs. I held off previously as confusing info - the 1434th were scattered around 488th and due to the UA info opps about this unit.
A police lieutenant serving in 'Akhmat' captured on 12.08.24.
They were shelled on the night of 5th August. Two rockets hit a command post leaving 3-4 KIA and 4 others WIA, including officers.
In his strongpoint there were 2 Chechens, and about 30 Russians. When UAF approached the battalion commander and deputy ran away leaving 25-26 men behind. Only one senior lieutenant stayed with them. [mentioned in other interviews] There were 6 of them when captured, while one conscript had just been KIA.

2.🇷🇺POWs in Kursk Oblast: 1434th Motor Rifle Regt 'Akhmat Chechnya'.
Stationed near the border close to Sverdlikovo. Captured on 12th August.
At 04:27 on 6th August a rocket hit their command post. There were 2 Chechens, and 30 others: conscripts, the battalion CO, chief of staff, (2-3 officers in total) and a radio operator. The WIAs were transferred to a medical ward.
When UAF approached, the battalion commander ordered the conscripts to stay in their dugout and await further orders. One officer stayed with them.

5.🇷🇺POWs in Kursk Oblast: 1434th Motor Rifle Regt 'Akhmat Chechnya'.
Two other ''Akhmat' POWs are sitting here either side of the one in black from tweet 4. They are among a total of approx 56 Russian POWs shown here, all collected in the first days of the attack.
I'm currently not counting separately the other 53 POWs in the film, as some have already appeared in other capture films.

Although not explicit about their unit, 2 more Chechens and a 3rd I can't make out, who are reportedly from Akhmat.
Captured by🇺🇦SOF, most likely at the large position west Sverdlikovo on 14.08.
The one in black is also in the next tweet with another from Grozny.
