The first reports about fighting around here came on the 22nd in the form of a Russian claim of liberation. I did not believe that claim at the time as most people did not believe Ukraine captured it. https://twitter.com/ThomasVLinge/status/1826432137370779988#m

/2. The video also shows the interception of relatively rare and valuable Orlan-30. The Orlan-30 has better optics among its analogues, and can also guide strikes of the Krasnopol laser-guided artillery shells

Looking at sat images it looks like fighting for the two settlements began sometime around the 18-22nd of August. Ukrainian officials stated that offensive operations continue in Kursk. There's been no other movement really since I started this thread,

Considering fighting for those settlements possibly have been going on for over a week, I still think the Ukrainian offensive has stalled for now. A stalled offensive does not mean there wont be fighting or movement of the frontline.

RT @DefMon3: RU forces have advanced in the Pishchane and are just 6km from the Oskil river. This advance have been going on for a month or so, but at some point there's a risk for the Ukrainian "beach head" east of Oskil to be split in to two.

RT @John_A_Ridge: Having read the PCL a few more times, some added clarification.
It does not appear *classified* defense articles were exported to China, Russia, or Iran.
Unauthorized exports of classified defense articles were made to Australia, Germany, Norway, Canada, Israel, and the UAE. https://twitter.com/John_A_Ridge/status/1829585632135716953#m

@RealCynicalFox: Correct, it does not preclude further enforcement actions. On Tuesday there will be many questions for State and the DoJ to answer about this.

@TheAgeofShoddy: Unless you are debating an anarcho-capitalist, this is a silly strawman. 99% of free market supporters still believe in having laws. The suggestion that having an entirely state owned defense industrial base would eliminate security risks is hilarious. The USSR was hardly known for a tight arms export control regime.

@3_bm15 @front_ukrainian: It could be. There are over 600 quintillion planets in the universe, at least 1% are deemed habitable. Meaning there’s probably some form of life, and there is a chance they have or in the future at some point will visit earth. If they can visit earth, they can also make rockets.

@ukraine_map @3_bm15 @front_ukrainian: It being aliens is a possibility but that possibility is basically 0%. It’s very possible some drunk Russians launched grad or it was done for the purpose of Russian propaganda to show Ukraine badly. It’s pretty easy to pull off get some grad operators to launch in that direction
