Frontline Analysis - Pokrovsk vs Kursk

In the Pokrovsk Direction, Russia has taken 18 settlements with a population of less than 1,000 people since the start of Ukraine’s Kursk Offensive. However, in the last week, they have taken most of Novohrodivka, with 14,000 residents pre-war. They have also taken the remaining parts of Niu-York and the town of Kostyantynivka in other areas of Donetsk Oblast.

In Kursk, Ukraine has taken up to 100 small settlements and 1,210km2 of land, and one key logistical railway hub of Sudzha, supply parts of Kursk and Belgorod Oblast. Ukraine entered up to 30km into the Kursk Region. They have cut off all land access to 570km2 of land in the Glushkovo district with 47 settlements and 20,000 people and have partially surrounded the town of Korenevo, which now only has only one supply route leading out of it for Russian forces.
