In late 2023, Germany contracted Rheinmetall with the production of 105,000 120mm shells of different types (HE, smoke, illuminating) for Ukraine, with an unknown amount of shells currently being delivered. Delivery is scheduled to be completed in 2025.

Currently the only FMS customer we know is approved for AIM-120D3 is Norway, who's order is on Lot 37. There may be below the threshold sales too (though unlikely) or classified FMS (more likely).

Omsk oil refinery is on fire in Russia. As Russian media claim AVT-10 is on fire. Information regarding AVT-10 at the Omsk oil refinery:
“The design capacity for raw materials is 6 million tons per year. The products obtained are fuel gas, liquefied gas, straight-run gasoline fractions, straight-run diesel fraction, vacuum gas oil and tar.
Built according to a standard design called ELOU-AVT-6 (6 is productivity). At other plants it is called ELOU-AVT-6, but at the Omsk Oil Refinery the name was taken and the unit was called AVT-10.”

🇮🇱 Elbit Systems has been awarded a $340 million, 10 year contract to supply ammunition to the Israeli Ministry of Defense. As part of the contract, Elbit will establish a new manufacturing facility to produce the ammunition. What kind of ammunition has not been disclosed.

The cause of the fire is unknown. Drone attacks were not reported. Plus Omsk is quite far away from the front line ~2500km.
