Yuriy Butusov says the situation on the Pokrovsk front is "critical" after Russia advanced 6km over the past seven days. He says Russia deliberately focuses its assaults on the most vulnerable brigades with poor command and control. He also notes a lack of coordination of UAVs and EW, which leads to UAV losses from EW fratricide.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 Raytheon plans to increase the maximum production rate of the AIM-9X Block II Sidewinder missile from 1400 per year to 2500/year. This would be achieved "by Lot 25"; unclear if that means by the scheduled award, in March 2025, or by 2027 when Lot 25 would enter production.

This is to support growing demand due to the war in Ukraine. The USAF & USN need to continue to replace legacy Sidewinders provided to Ukraine, provide Ukraine with new X Block IIs to support their NASAMS 3 batteries, and also meet other Foreign Military Sales orders.

This sale would be supported by a variety of different contractors. The description and dollar value are for the highest estimated quantity and dollar value based on initial requirements. Actual dollar value will be lower depending on final requirements, budget authority, and signed sales agreement(s), if and when concluded
