The Belarusian Air Force was patrolling Homiel region during the night attack on Ukraine

According to @Hajun_BY, a fighter of the Belarusian Air Force flew from Baranavichy airfield to the south of Belarus last night (from 01:45 to 03:10). It’s known that the fighter was on duty in the airspace of Homiel region during another Russia’s attack against Ukraine, which was using mainly UAVs.

This night, no Russian drones of the Shahed-136/131 type flew into Belarus.

Apparently, the on-duty forces of the Belarusian Air Force and Air Defense Forces began to preventively patrol the airspace to control flying Russian drones and missiles.

So far, Belarusian state authorities haven’t published any comments on the flights of Russian drones over the country. The flight of the Shahed in Mahiliou region on July 16 was indirectly confirmed only by an official of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Judging by the previous experience of the local authorities’ reaction to such incidents, we may assume that Lukashenka himself will present the “official version” in the coming days.

❗️Over the past 2 weeks, luxury cars worth over $18 million have been imported from Latvia to Belarus, circumventing sanctions: their recipient is “Lukashenka’s wallet” Aliaksei Oleksin.

In recent days, Latvia and other Baltic states have been imposing bans on entry to the EU for Belarusians, explaining them by the EU sanctions, and setting deadlines when Belarusians should leave the Baltic states with their cars. Of course, it’s very convenient to explain all these short-sighted restrictions by the “fight against the regime”, and to repeat a million times the story about Litvinism to the local audience. But there is one BUT.

Simultaneously with the introduction of restrictions, new luxury cars are being transported from the Baltic states to Belarus by rail, circumventing the EU sanctions, which are so often referred to lately.
