RT @deaidua: German @tagesschau is citing unnamed people close to the German government saying that Biden's talk about the additional German Patriot fire unit only refers to the third delivered one, whose delivery to Ukraine was made public last Friday.

RT @FRHoffmann1: Here’s a quick analysis of the AIM-120 warhead, as many have been asking about it.
The AIM-120 features a WDU-33/B or WDU-41/B blast-fragmentation warhead, designed to destroy soft-skinned airborne targets such as aircraft, cruise missiles, and long-range drones.
The weight of the warhead differs by AIM-120 variant:
- AIM-120A/B/C (up to C-3) (WDU-33/B): 22.7 kg (50 lb)
- AIM-120 C-4/C-5 (WDU-41/B): 18.1 kg (40 lb) -
Not all of the warhead's mass consists of high explosives. In fact, the majority of its weight is made up of fragmentable material.
The amount of actual high explosives is as follows:
- AIM-120A/B/C (up to C-3): 7.66 kg (16.9 lb) of explosives
- AIM-120 C-4/C-5: 8.61 kg (19 lb) of explosives
Why? Because the lethality of this type of warhead relies less on the kinetic energy of the explosion's overpressure shockwave and more on the kinetic energy of the fragment...

This permission has existed for quite some time. The problem is, as Zelensky himself has stated, President Biden has directed Ukraine not to use *any* long range weapons to strike deep into Russia. https://twitter.com/ZelenskyyUa/status/1811099652625773036#m

RT @KofmanMichael: Thoughts following a recent field study in Ukraine. Ukraine faces difficult months of fighting ahead, but the situation at the front is better than it was this spring. More worrisome is the state of Ukraine’s air defense, and the damage from Russian strikes to the power grid. 1/

RT @RALee85: We should remember that Ukraine is receiving older variants of the F-16, it will only receive a limited number initially, its pilots received a very expedited training program, maintenance will be a bigger issue than with other NATO systems Ukraine has received, and we don't know what munitions they will receive. I suspect we will see them initially performing an air defense role to counter Russian cruise missiles. I think we should view this as more of a long-term shift from Soviet-era fighter aircraft to a NATO platform for the Ukrainian Air Force.

No-one serious thinks F-16s “will be a game changer” and saying so risks another cycle of hype and disappointment. The planes will bolster Ukraine’s air force, expand its air to air options and become more capable over time as other capabilities - like Swedish…

@hissgoescobra: Certainly, and it needs to be a priority to provide better basic training to new Ukrainian soldiers.

RT @Teoyaomiquu: I've been trying to come up with something to push this fundraiser, but my hands are just down. Too many friends were killed by russian invaders over the last week.
It's been really hard to pull myself together and come up with something coherent explanation why it's important to help these units to rebuild their operational capabilities quickly.
Together with friends units I support lost drones, power stations and communication equipment. The government supplied equipment is coming in, but it is slow, I am trying to help with whatever free resources I have left, but it's not enough. I just don't have much left.
This video is of Timofey, he recorded it for me more than a year ago @LibertyUkraineF sent his unit a Mavic 3T drone, he was so happy to receive it but now he is KIA after 2+ years of service. RIP my friend. Rest in peace hero.
