According to our data, there were a number of new supplies of new military equipment and weapons to various units of the Belarusian Armed Forces in April 2024. We have information on the following supplies:
• 4 Mi-35M helicopters
4 new Mi-35M helicopters arrived at Machulishchy airfield from Russia on April 7. This is the second batch of helicopters of this type, which arrived from Russia. A total of 8 such helicopters are now in service with the 50th Combined Air Base of the Belarusian Air Force.
• New radio relay stations in the Belarusian Armed Forces

Air defense units were redeployed to protect the Mazyr oil refinery: is it more important than the Belarusian NPP?
According to our information, on April 8-9, units of the Air Defense Forces of the Belarusian Armed Forces were redeployed to Yelsk district (Homiel region).
Were are talking about one battery (Tor-M2K and Osa-AKM SAM systems) of the 1146th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment (military unit 97106) and one battery (same equipment) of the 147th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment (military unit 96869). Rotation of the Russian Armed Forces – the number of the personnel hasn’t changed
According to our information, on April 25-26, two military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces arrived at Homiel airport. This airport is used to supply the units of the Russian Armed Forces deployed at Ziabrauka and Mazyr (Bokau) airfields, as well as to ensure their rotation.
It’s possible that the arrival of the aircraft was connected with another rotation of the Russian contingent stationed at Ziabrauka and Mazyr (Bokau) airfields. Before this, we recorded the rotation of the Russian military in December 2023.
Currently, the military of the Russian Armed Forces are stationed in the following locations in Belarus:
• Baranavichy, Mazyr (Bokau) and Ziabrauka airfields – 500-600 people;
• Baranavichy radar station and the 43rd Vileika communication center – up to 1450 people.

In April, twice fewer aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces arrived in Belarus than in March. A total of 5 arrivals of aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces were recorded during the month (10 in March).
According to our data, in April, Russian aircraft arrived at:

• Baranavichy airfield – An-12 and An-124;
• Homiel airport – An-12 and An-26.

Wagner mercenaries continue to systematically work with servicemen of the Internal Troops and the Belarusian Armed Forces. At the same time, this cooperation is not publicly recognized.
For example, in April, the mercenaries conducted combat coordination of the Granit special forces detachment and conducted combat, firearms and tactical training with the 6th and 11th Brigades at the Obuz-Liasnouski training ground.
In addition, servicemen of artillery units of the Western Operational Command together with the mercenaries of PMC Wagner conducted combat training at the Asipovichski training ground.
