An inspection of units capable of using tactical nuclear weapons was announced in Belarus.
In accordance with Lukashenka’s order, a sudden inspection of non-strategic nuclear weapons carriers is being conducted in the Belarusian Armed Forces. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
A squadron of Su-25 attack aircraft of the 116th Assault Air Base and the 587th Separate Missile Divizion of the 465th Missile Brigade armed with the Iskander-M missile systems are involved in the inspection. A unit of the 336th Rocket Artillery Brigade armed with the Polonez-M missile systems will also take part in the drills.
It was noted that “the entire range of activities from planning, preparation and use of strikes with tactical nuclear warheads” will be inspected. In particular, the issues of supplying special munitions to military units and their loading on launchers (attachment on aircraft) will be worked out.

Top secret? A TV channel of the Belarusian MoD decided to pass off Su-25 fuel tanks as nuclear warheads?
The Ministry of Defense of Belarus published a video from the beginning of a sudden inspection
of non-strategic nuclear weapons carriers.
The video made by VoyenTV propagandists at Machulishchy airfield shows a Su-25 attack aircraft landing. In addition to the tail number, the drop tanks were blurred on the video for some reason. It’s notable that in some of the footage, the drop tanks were blurred, while in others not.
Drop tanks are designed to place an additional fuel reserve on the aircraft and to provide a greater range of flight. For example, as in this case, when relocating to a reserve airfield.
Probably, the editors of VoyenTV decided to create a feeling in the audience that attack aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force were about to fly out to use nuclear warheads for their intended purpose.

Exactly two years ago, on May 7 2022, the units of the Ukrainian SBU's Special Operations Center "Alpha", Special Operations Forces and HUR MO carried out a helicopter-borne raid on then Russia-occupied Zmiinyi Island in the Black Sea.
After performing combat tasks on the island, the Ukrainian forces withdrew.
Zmiinyi Island was liberated in late June-July 2022.
