Air defense on the Russian border to protect Lukashenka?
On April 24, we wrote about the redeployment of a unit of the 740th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of the Belarusian Armed Forces to the Belarus-Russia border. This activity may be related to Lukashenka’s upcoming visit to Kastsyukovichy district, Mahiliou region.
Kastsyukovichy town is located 30 km from the deployment location of the air defense unit and 115 km from the border with Ukraine. The visit will take place tomorrow (April 30), then the anti-aircraft gunners are to return to the permanent deployment point.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, all Lukashenka’s visits throughout Belarus have been accompanied by increased attention of the nearest military unit of the anti-aircraft missile and radio-technical troops of the Belarusian Armed Forces. And as we have already noted earlier, the main units of the anti-aircraft missile troops of the Belarusian Armed Force...
