Spring conscription-2024 in Belarus: will the army get more soldiers?
The spring conscription campaign is coming to an end in Belarus. In two weeks military commissariats will send the first conscripts to military units. This is the third conscription with new health requirements for conscripts.
We recall that in early 2023, the Instruction on determining health requirements for citizens related to military service was adjusted. The changes were aimed at reducing the health requirements for conscripts.
Apparently, military commissariats are satisfied with the effect obtained after the update of the Instruction. For example, on April 8, Siarhei Puntus, the military commissar of Miory district, said in a commentary to state media:
“The tendency to increase the number of conscripts can be observed due to the fact that last year the requirements of legal acts in terms of medical examination were changed.”

According to our information, Sergey Lavrov is on board this plane, flying to Minsk. It’s known that tomorrow he will take part in a meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers in Minsk.
