The EU imposed the 13th sanctions package against Russia, which includes a number of individuals and legal entities linked to the regime in Belarus.

The following entities came under the EU sanctions:
• JSC Peleng;
• NGO “Dolphins”, an organization involved in the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children to Belarus;
• Aleksei Talai Foundation;
• JSC 2566 Radio-Electronic Weapons Repair Plant;
• Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant.

The following individuals came under the EU sanctions:
• Dzmitry Shautsou, general secretary of the Belarusian Red Cross Society;
• Aliaksei Talai;
• Pavel Sluchak, general director of Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant;
• Valery Shatsila, director of the 2566 Radio-Electronic Weapons Repair Plant;
• Dzmitry Dziamidau, chairman of the Navapolatsk City Executive Committee.
• Volha Volkava, director of the NGO “Dolphins”.

The U.S. imposed new sanctions against Russia, @USTreasury reports. The list includes several individuals and legal entities linked to the regime in Belarus.

The following came under the U.S. sanctions:
• Aleksei Talai;
• JSC 558 Aircraft Repair Plant;
• Boris Gryzlov, Russian ambassador to Belarus;
• Dmitry Mezentsev, Secretary of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.

The U.S. also imposed sanctions against the Russian “Mir” payment system.

/1. Russian sources report about another loss of an A-50. As they say it was shot down in the same area in which the previous one was lost. As always Russians claimed it was a friendly air defense fire.

Russian media: “02/23/2024 Again A-50, again the same area. The enemy has nothing to do with it again. The launches were from the Mariupol area.”
