The only way the United States will be able to meet the threat posed by the CCP is if sufficiently large annual appropriations are in place, along with authorities for both Rapid and Multi-Year Procurement.

A lesson has been learned. Well, it's supposed to be learned the last time, after the Budapest memorandum: When you rely too much on someone's support and build your plans around promises, - it might cost you a lot.
There were so many ways to convert help to Ukraine into political points (if this is so important for the US politicians, I don't have illusions)... But you decided to help your own internal enemy, who will ruin your country, an external one, who is willing to ruin the world at the same time.
You don't give a flying fuck about the border, migration policy, homeless, Israel, or Taiwan. The only goal of all this shitshow is to prevent weapons supply to Ukraine.
Avdiivka will most likely fall, and it will also cost us many lives. A shortage of artillery shells caused this. We were unable to evacuate the wounded from that area.
We can't afford to stop fighting - you know that. Because you know what russia will do to us if we stop. But you, apparently, can afford to wait "as long as it takes". Because it's not you paying the price.
I know how you increased your gas and oil exports to the EU, replacing russia. I understand that the longer "it takes," - the more weapons our allies will have to send to Ukraine so you can sell more modern ones as a replenishment - russia has completely disappeared from this market and many other markets where russian exports were sanctioned too.
Am I surprised? Not really.
I was just hoping for the best. But it is what it is.
But who am I to judge you anyway?

І коли окупант підійшов, то піхота була вкопана, арта стояла на вогневих. І фіг хто посунув піхоту, місто вистояло. Сумно те, що зараз на інженерні роботи не приділяється така увага. Це старші начальники так вірять в стійкість піхоти?
