There is no evidence of a Patriot being destroyed, other than the minimal damage that was done in the attacked that I explained from a year ago. It wasn’t destroyed then and was firing missiles the next week.

@xxxTtimexxx @cym27s: Are you going to show the evidence?
If it was destroyed it wouldn’t be operating a week after that. The Iskander did not hit the system, it hit near. The evidence you will show would be an explosion occurring in the background taken from a security camera in a residential area.

US 🇺🇸 should immediately approve funding for Ukraine 🇺🇦 and transfer at least a handful of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine
Russia has +400 long-range missiles that Ukraine would not be able to shoot down if they were fired at almost all Ukrainian cities except for Kyiv

@xxxTtimexxx @cym27s: At that time last year it was the only Patriot that Kyiv had, and it was confirmed as operating the next week after you claimed it was destroyed. Then after that strike there was no evidence a Patriot was hit or damaged.

@xxxTtimexxx @cym27s: There were multiple geolocated videos of the Patriot firing after that in Kyiv. There were launchers stationed at the airport, another at the zoo, and another on a small island. This lead to a big backlash from Ukraine asking residents not to post videos of air defense positions.

@xxxTtimexxx @cym27s: There was not official statement from US. The anonymous US official that talked to CNN, said the Patriot could be repaired quickly in Ukraine then CNN clarified their report saying the damage was minimal. It was since the Patriot was operating the next week, it was not destroyed.

@xxxTtimexxx @cym27s: As I just stated, the damage was minimal and it was operating the next week. Being repaired in Ukraine means it doesn't need to be taken out of the country, that is for minor damage only.
You are still completely missing the point that it was not destroyed but minimally damaged.

@xxxTtimexxx @cym27s: The damage to the Patriot was minimal, the repair was quick, it was operating normally the next week.
If it was serious then the Patriot would have needed to be taken out of the country, but the US official in your article said it could be repaired in Ukraine and it was quickly.

@xxxTtimexxx @cym27s: You are showing me the same reporting, from another news outlet about the same exact event, just confirmed what the other news outlet already reported. None of the articles say it was destroyed, and reality showed us it was operating the next week meaning it was repaired quickly.

The Ukrainian Air Force says it shot down all 8 Shahed drones and 18 of 24 Russian Kh-101 / Kh-555 / Kh-55 ALCM but none of the 4 Kinzhal, 7 S-300 / S-400, 8 Kh-22, 6 Iskander-M 9M723, or 2 Kh-31P missiles launched over night.

@xxxTtimexxx @cym27s: Yes, if the damage is minimal, they don’t need to take it out of the country. This is done for most military systems.
It was operating the next week, why are you ignoring that point? It was not destroyed and it was fixed in the country like the US officials stated it would be.

@xxxTtimexxx @cym27s: It was operating the next week in Kyiv, Ukraine meaning it was not destroyed. That was the only system Ukraine had at the time.
I will no longer respond to you because we keep going in circles. The facts were very clear. You just don’t want to accept that it was not destroyed.

@xxxTtimexxx @cym27s: I have addressed both of those specific claims like +5 times already. And you keep repeating the same claims asking the same questions and ignoring the fact it was operating a week after the strike, which it wouldn’t have if it got destroyed, and that the damage done was minimal.

@Zagonel85: It was always like this. The only outlier was Kyiv. No Kinzhal or Iskander-M missiles were shot down outside of Kyiv in the past 6 months, and no Kh-22s were shot down either. All Russia did was fired the missiles to other targets that are not in the city of Kyiv.

They are fighting Ukraine not the West. The West is giving their old military equipment and some good equipment in very small amounts.

@ruserification: The sources are the Ukrainian Military and its Intelligence Services which report on Russia’s missile stockpiles and production rates every couple months, and report the missiles fired by Russia after each strike. That is made into a calculation to come up with estimated numbers.
