@OGopnik: They have up to now a ready stream supply of AFVs from the post Soviet stores. They need refurbishing of course and they are going through them quickly.
Up tick in offensive due to them assessing UAF's Zap Oblast offensives had culminated and used many resources so are likely vulnerable if attacked in many places. Avdiivka and NovM... makes sense if the overall strategy is still to take Donbass borders and secure Donetsk, but beyond that the strategy unclear to me, but timing likely also influenced by next year's Russian 'election'. Putin would prefer to present that the war is going well by then.

During 10.12-16-12.23 was the largest offence from the South of Avdiivka since 10.10.23 (the beginning of the operation). Only for one day, 10.12.23, they have lost 9 tanks.
