🇺🇦🇺🇸 The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Gen. Zaluzhnyy and Chairman of the JCS Gen. Milley held a new phone call.

According to Ukrainian side, the two military leaders discussed the ongoing Ukrainian counteroffensive, air defenses, supply of weapons and ammunition, as well as F-16 fighter jets.

The commander of a motor rifle or tank battalion, reserve Lieutenant Colonel Marat Garipov, was recently killed near Svatove in Luhansk Oblast of Ukraine.

He was born in Uzbekistan (then a part of the USSR) in 1966.

To note, the deployment of 54 F-35A fighter jets at the RAF Lakenheath was anticipated since 2015, when the US Department of Defense first announced that.

F-15Es stationed there are also nuclear-capable. So no big news here.
