Again, recommend having a look at the Kaliningrad Military Digest.

@ThicMozzarella: They’ve likely been there for days now

US General Mark Milley confirmed, 4 days ago, that Ukrainian Forces broke through Russia’s 1st main line of defense

Yesterday, Ukraine confirmed a successful offensive toward Verbove

And the video shows Ukrainians 150 meters from the town

RT @Hajun_BY: A batch of Iskander-M missile systems arrived in Belarus from Russia.

According to @Hajun_BY, a military cargo train with at least 10 pieces of Iskander-M missile systems arrived at Asipovichy station (Mahiliou region) from Kapustin Yar village, Astrakhan oblast, Russia.

It’s known that a missile test site of the same name is located there — the 4th state central training site of the Russian Federation. It’s reported that the Iskander-M missile systems have already been put in service with the Belarusian Armed Forces. And this train with Iskanders is not the last one to arrive in Belarus.

According to @belzhd_live, military cargo trains with empty flatcars and freight cars have been sent from railway stations of the Belarusian Railway to Kapustin Yar since mid-May 2023.

For example, on June 15 and June 17, 87 empty cars were sent from Orsha-Uskhodniaya station to Kapustin Yar, with the Belarusian MoD listed as the sender.

RT @georgewbarros: I'd like to tamper expectation about the new Ukrainian activity behind the tank ditch near Verbove.

The available evidence does not mean this is a "confirmed breach" of the Surovikin line.

Ukrainian forces very well may have breached it, but we need more evidence.

Thread.

@vcdgf555: A bit late replying, but Pskov prehaps just about a tad too far south to be within the St. Petersburg SAM ring, especially against low flying targets.

Also, I don't know if the war has forced redeployment from these units elsewhere.

Of course, there's a small but existing possibility that the original poster could've mistaken Russian shelling with the Ukrainian one.

Hopefully, more media which would allow further verification and clarification of the current situation in that area will come out soon.

Early rumors about UA drones heading in the Rostov direction. 🔥

As the geolocation shows, if those clouds of smoke seen in the video indeed come from Russian shelling with Grad, that would indicate that the Ukrainians already advanced into the eastern part of Verbove, marking significant progress in that sector.
