US Navy said it intervened to prevent Iran from seizing two commercial tankers in the Persian Gulf on Wednesday.

An Iranian vessel fired shots during the second seizure attempt, 5th Fleet spox stated. He didn't clarify how exactly the US prevented their seizure.
