This morning Russian channels were spreading the message that Ukraine had shelled a hospital.

The Channel Soloviev (1.3 million subscribers) shared footage from the hospital, along with the accompanying claim.

But did Ukraine shelled a hospital?
NO.

On this image you see the impact of the precision strike by Ukraine. You also see that the strike is inside an apartment block. The edge of the hospital is 350m to the East.

In this video you can clearly see that it were secondary explosions that caused a barrage of flying and exploding ammunition in different directions.

And also in the direction of the hospital.

Not only is this a valid military target, but even without the shelling by Ukraine, Russia brings the life of civilians living around this area in danger.

Conclusion: Did Ukraine shelled a hospital?

NO.

It was a Russian ammunition depot, that never should be there in the first place, that caused the damage to the hospital.

Russia is responsible:
Ammunition depot (military operation) to close to the hospital.

Addendum: regarding the shelling of Donetsk.

1. It is clear that Russia 'hides' 'military allowed' targets in Donetsk: HQ's, Logistical Hubs, Artillery positions and even ammunition depots. These are valid Ukrainian targets.

2. Russia has artillery positions around the city and shoots over the city:

Shells can fall short due to various reasons such as bad storage of ammunition (known Russian problem), mistakes while aiming, mechanical issues,...

--> Not all Donetsk shelling is Ukrainian.
