Almost three years ago, 33 suspected members of the Wagner Group were detained in Belarus by the order of Alexander Lukashenko.

They were accused of preparing terrorist acts and attempting to destabilise the country before presidential elections.

Of course, Putin can change the terms of this agreement at any time. The Kremlin may decide to allow Wagner to continues its current operations in Africa for the time being and address the situation later.

Just had a brief look, but lots of details on shipments and indications of timelines.

Prigozhin had the power to wound Putin but not replace him. Once he ended his mutiny and sent his forces back to Ukraine, he lost the leverage he had. But only after demonstrated to Putin that he was a potential threat.

@KofmanMichael Agreed, political loyalty trumps competence, even during a war critical to his political survival. If they remain in their positions, it further demonstrates that Prigozhin didn't achieve his objectives in this mutiny. Though we'll have to wait to see.
