Tu-22M Backfires carrying a single AS-4 it seems, in international airspace over the Baltic.
-----------
@RoyalAirForce:
RAF Typhoons from 140 EAW and Swedish Air Force Gripens scrambled this afternoon, for a third time in 48hrs, to intercept 2x Russian Tu-22M Backfire and 2x Su-30SM Flanker H flying close to @NATO airspace.
140 EAW are deployed on NATO’s Baltic Air Policing Mission.

If I remember correctly, Backfires flying with missiles had become a trend before the invasion buildup began to pick up speed in the fall of '21, from the Far East to the Mediterranean.
I don't know how common this has been after Feb 24th.

@vaggonis I know what you’re referring to. Is there photos of it being 4 AMX-10RCs because I’ve only seen 2 of them. They haven’t been confirmed by Oryx after three days and another credible tracking source couldn't confirm that they were lost when I asked them. Regardless, it would be 96%

Two videos from this week showing the value of more survival Western equipment. If this had been a BTR or BMP-1 instead of a Mastiff MRAP and Bradley IFV, more Ukrainian casualties likely would have been sustained. https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1667562027202535424

Ukraine has also been operating at night this week, which would be difficult without the Bradley's (I've heard TOWs have been effective). This equipment was never going to guarantee a successful counteroffensive, but it is giving them a better chance of success and saving lives.
