More info is needed for accurate BDA, however, a theory.

If today's footage was taken earlier than what the Russians released, I'm inclined to believe damage was light.

An indicator for more serious damage: BLKFLT warships/auxiliaries coming to assistance, for now an unknown.

Ситуация уже всем понятна, но Андрюша по-прежнему продолжает есть говно https://t.me/RtrDonetsk/17718 #Залужный #Руденко #чотаржу

@TheShipYard2 Suprise likely played a role here, but increasing speed should have been an immediate action, once the threat becomes apparent.

@TheShipYard2 I think this was a Ukrainian attack. How they reached out there, no clue.

There are many factors here.
The Khurs could have been running on one engine and then things happened quickly.

How far out did they detect the USVs? When where they assessed a threat? At what readiness?

Some factors at play when looking at the Ivan Khurs reactions.

Readiness, suprise and ROEs all play a part, with some more specific questions below.

@Humanist_me Yes, they are called FVP drones, or Kamikaze drones. They are loaded with explosives and are intended to be used one time only.

@COUPSURE:
A new video has been released showing the moment a Ukrainian naval drone impacts the Ivan Khurs. The damage sustained by the Russian ship is unknown. The Russian Defense Ministry claimed to have destroyed all the drones. https://t.co/vPLRZa0lUc https://t.co/Sk3Zlf2gcH
